Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing comprehensive physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and intervene immediately if complications arise.
- Document all patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a high-pressure, night shift environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and nursing documentation systems.
