Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based patient care across diverse units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precise attention to safety protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and respond rapidly to changes in condition
- Document clinical observations accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with Joint Commission and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Current Colorado RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in weekend/hospital setting
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in electronic health documentation systems
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Spanish bilingualism preferred but not required
