Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status, intervening immediately in emergency situations.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the EMR system.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions.
- Provide patient and family education to promote understanding of health conditions and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
