Responsibilities
- Assess patients' health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes in condition or emergency situations.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and update individualized care plans.
- Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately and timely.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience (New Graduates encouraged to apply).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Night shift availability required.
