Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs throughout the night shift.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities, symptoms, and progress accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment to prevent infections and ensure patient comfort.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, with strong competency in acute care.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
