Responsibilities
- Deliver High-Quality Care: Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessments, treatments, and monitoring vital signs throughout the night shift.
- Medication Management: Accurately administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to critical situations and emergency codes to ensure patient safety and stabilize conditions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, physicians, and patients' families to ensure continuity of care.
- Compassionate Support: Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during their stay.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Professionalism: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
