Responsibilities
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and report any changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous (IV) therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and ensure accurate documentation of patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and critical incidents during the night shift.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, holidays, and weekends as required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
