Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs and health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to safety protocols.
- Document patient care activities, including symptoms, reactions, and progress, accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations with calm and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
