Responsibilities
- Deliver Patient Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and documenting patient progress.
- Assessment: Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify health needs and develop appropriate care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and physicians to ensure everyone is informed and aligned on care goals.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to hygiene and infection control policies to prevent the spread of illness within the facility.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida (FL).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: No experience required for new graduates; however, prior clinical rotation experience is highly valued.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate demeanor.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
