Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care settings during night shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EHR systems
- Mentor new nursing staff and uphold quality standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN preferred, ADN with experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced night shift environments
