Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities, observations, and responses to treatment accurately and in real-time.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, discharge instructions, and preventative care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as required.
