Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing care plans and physician orders
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccines accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and transitions
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active Pennsylvania RN license or eligibility to obtain immediately
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
