Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Monitor and record patient symptoms, changes in condition, and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following strict protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and patient safety.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to support recovery and prevent readmission.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Respond to emergency situations and critical alerts with composure and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at time of hire.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred (training provided).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new EHR systems.
