Job Overview:
As a Registered Nurse at San Francisco HealthCare Partners, you will be the cornerstone of our patient care team. You will assess patient needs, administer medication, and collaborate with physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes. We value dedication, empathy, and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and update medical records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical times.
- Assist in emergency response situations and triage patients effectively.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to strict infection control standards.
- Document patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the nursing supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required (New Graduates welcome).
- CPR/BLS certification and ACLS certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hospital-specific EMR software.
