Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute care settings during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care continuity
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to emergent situations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on health management plans
- Participate in weekend shift handovers and care coordination
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska RN license required
- BSN preferred (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to work flexible weekend schedule
