Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care across diverse medical-surgical units
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per protocol
- Document electronic health records with precision and timeliness
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care planning
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (or eligible to obtain)
- ADN or BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays
- Commitment to continuing education and professional growth
- Pass background check and drug screening
