Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient records with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide patient/family education on treatment protocols and preventive care
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital safety protocols
- Mentor nursing students and new staff members through clinical rotations
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN) in good standing
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years acute care experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC/PALS preferred
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience in hospital setting
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work in fast-paced environments
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience strongly preferred)
