Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and vital signs, promptly reporting any changes or concerns.
- Provide direct patient care, including hygiene, comfort, and emotional support.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-care instructions.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient recovery.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Kansas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
