Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and accuracy.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions, documenting all findings promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure the clinical environment remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety rounds.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated empathy and a commitment to patient-centered care.
