Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, and implement nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and response to care, reporting any changes immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient medical history, symptoms, and reactions to treatments accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families regarding post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a medical/surgical or telemetry unit.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
