Responsibilities
- Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards of practice.
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Monitor patient vitals and update electronic health records (EHR) in real-time.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and care instructions post-discharge.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and assist in triage procedures when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California (CA RN License required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as required.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
