Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Assess patient health status by conducting thorough physical examinations and medical histories.</li><li>Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed therapies in accordance with established protocols.</li><li>Monitor and record patient symptoms, reactions, and progress; report changes to the medical team immediately.</li><li>Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.</li><li>Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness, and home care instructions.</li><li>Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Current and valid <strong>Registered Nurse (RN)</strong> license in the State of California.</li><li>Valid <strong>BLS (Basic Life Support)</strong> certification and <strong>ACLS</strong> preferred (or as required by department).</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred, though new graduates may be considered.</li><li>Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.</li><li>Ability to perform under pressure and maintain composure in emergency situations.</li><li>Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.</li></ul>
