Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and clinical status, reporting significant changes to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide clear communication and health education to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
