Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
- Respond promptly to patient inquiries and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Valid and active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and hospital regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team setting.
