Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established nursing protocols and hospital policies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care information accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment while adhering to strict infection control standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education programs.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Med-Surg or Critical Care experience a plus).
- CPR/BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the department.
