Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and therapists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding disease prevention and health promotion.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy standards.
