Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status to identify changes in condition.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient symptoms, reactions, and progress meticulously in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication adherence.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Valid and active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification currently in good standing.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, though new graduates are considered.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required by the role.
