Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical history.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive nursing care plan tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies.
- Monitor patient responses to interventions and communicate changes in condition to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and disease management.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Oregon.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
