Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, strictly adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Monitor vital signs and patient progress continuously, promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other staff members to coordinate seamless patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health management, medication adherence, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Document all clinical findings and interventions accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as this is a part-time position.
