Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing comprehensive physical examinations and history taking.
- Develop and implement a holistic plan of care based on assessment data and patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with strict protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans accordingly.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (Texas).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- National certification in a specialty area (e.g., Med-Surg, ICU, Telemetry) is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Must be willing to float to other units based on departmental needs.
