Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and patient evaluations to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients throughout their treatment journey.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or outpatient setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic medical record systems (EMR).
- Commitment to professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and high standards of care.
