Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practice.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education to promote health literacy and self-management.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred based on unit assignment.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to rotate shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
