Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by monitoring vital signs and assessing health conditions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health management, and treatment options.
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and assist in critical care situations.
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety regulations, and nursing standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to lift and move patients as necessary (up to 50 lbs).
