Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license in the state of Illinois or Ohio (or willing to relocate).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced team environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
