Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through history taking, physical examinations, and symptom analysis.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor patient progress continuously and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond to medical emergencies with calm, decisive, and professional action.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
