Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, documenting changes and reporting any concerns immediately to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, post-discharge care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and code blue alerts.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- National certification (e.g., CCRN, MSN) is a plus.
