Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and triage via video and phone consultations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions within the scope of your nursing license.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and manage ongoing treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and secure documentation of patient encounters in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Provide patient education, medication instructions, and follow-up support.
- Identify patient needs and escalations to ensure timely and appropriate medical intervention.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in telehealth, urgent care, or emergency medicine.
- Strong proficiency with computer systems and Electronic Health Records (EHR) software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for virtual patient interactions.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
