Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health problems, needs, and development.
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and progress, making immediate clinical decisions as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient advocacy and safety.
