Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and psychological needs and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and alert the healthcare team to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient care activities, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely.
- Respond to emergency situations with composure and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and hygiene.
