Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and wound care with precision and compassion
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic EHR systems
- Mentor new nursing staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Provide patient/family education on disease management and preventive care
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with critical thinking and clinical expertise
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN) in good standing
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred for leadership roles
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience with ACLS/BLS certifications
- Proficiency in electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Demonstrated excellence in patient-centered care and communication
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced settings
- Certification in specialty area (e.g., CCRN, CMSRN) highly valued
