Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and develop individualized care plans based on clinical guidelines.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing patient conditions using advanced life support techniques.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oregon.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
