Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead patient/family education on health management and discharge planning
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to rapid response and code blue situations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (Telemetry, ICU, or ER preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC or PALS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment abilities
- Excellent communication skills with diverse populations
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
