Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for post-cardiac surgery patients and critically ill cardiac conditions
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, administering life-saving interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health management and recovery
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EHR system
- Participate in rapid response and code blue situations
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- 2+ years of ICU/CCU experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
