Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care and monitor patient health status continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed healthcare providers.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient information, medical histories, and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-care instructions.
- Respond to medical emergencies with calmness, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois (IL).
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting patients when necessary.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
