Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, treatments, and responses to therapy.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in triage procedures when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Commitment to patient safety and HIPAA compliance.
