Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care Planning: Conduct thorough physical assessments, monitor patient conditions, and develop individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring accurate documentation and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and ensure continuity of service.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care instructions to promote better health outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, ensuring all documentation complies with legal and regulatory standards.
- Crisis Management: Respond effectively to medical emergencies and critical situations, utilizing advanced life support skills to stabilize patients.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates are considered.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical equipment.
