Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive, individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously, recording vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and home care instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare staff to coordinate optimal patient care.
- Respond to medical emergencies with speed and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or critical care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to lift and move patients as required by the position.
