Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings (ER, ICU, Med-Surg)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and facility protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid intervention
- Supervise LVNs/CNAs and delegate tasks appropriately
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (compact license acceptable)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Telemetry or critical care experience preferred
- Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts independently
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work day/night/weekend shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
