Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, responding swiftly to any changes or emergencies.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting (Medical-Surgical or ICU preferred).
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
