Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and perform comprehensive health assessments to ensure timely intervention.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies in strict adherence to hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records and documentation.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide critical care support.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure a safe and clean patient environment by adhering to all infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license issued by the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
